Built this gaming PC with a RTX 3080, all parts purchased used through various marketplaces to keep within the 800$ budget. Felt that even with the 11700kf is enough for what I need it for and the 3080 is able to play games without issues at 1440p. Mainly playing Apex Legends, League of Legends, and other various games (that do not take too much space). I did try to get into the latest Modern Warfare, but opted out as it takes a lot of SSD space which I am limited to on the 512GB drive here.$770.00 -

This is my latest (as of 2024) Sim Racing, Photo Editing, Streaming, Powerhouse PC. I wanted to create something unique but functional for my purposes. Case selection and issues with Case: I loved the MSI 700R case the moment I saw it but realized that I would need to modify it a little bit. Just like Cooler Master cases, MSI does not believe in locating the 24-pin Grommets parallel to the actual connectors on MBs. I had a friend of mine make a custom cutout which would allow me to swap the factory grommets to the new openings. Secondly, the included vertical GPU bracket is not square. In fact, it was off center in two dimensions. This required a bit of handy dremel work and I also had to try different riser cables that would allow me to play with the angle as much as possible. Finally, this case is not really friendly with custom loop cooling despite the advertising between MSI and EK for this case. The shroud that is designed to cover the area below the D5 pump is totally useless and borderline impossible to install and then remove once the system is together. The first time I assembled this system I installed the shroud and quickly realized I would be in for trouble when it comes time to draining the loop. I was a bit wiser for the second build up. Now we can see the distro plate better, I have access to the drain valve but the PSU basement could be seen. I created a custom cover for this area and used double some 3m double sided tape to adhere the cover. MB and EK specific WB for Asus Hero. EK strikes again with issues with their tooling. I had to file down one of the heatsinks that comes with the new EK replacement WB.$3,840.33 -

The setup ensures smooth gameplay and stunning visuals, which enhance my gaming experience after a long day. Aside from gaming, my rig doubles as a hub for my creative projects. I frequently use Canva for designing graphics for social media campaigns, creating digital art pieces, and crafting presentations for work. The powerful GPU and CPU combination not only handle gaming demands but also crunch through intensive graphic design tasks with ease. Looking back, I might have considered a larger SSD to accommodate both my expanding game library and the numerous design files I work with. Future upgrades could include more RAM for smoother multitasking and perhaps investing in a dual-monitor setup to boost productivity while working on design projects.$1,086.95 -

I built this rig to learn more about computers and to replace my laptop because it was really slow (turns out I accidentally disable onboard graphics). I primarily use it for gaming and schoolwork. I currently only play games like Fortnite and Roblox, but I'm planning to add more games in the future such as Apex, Warzone, Minecraft, etc. Also note that some of the pricing is inaccurate to what I paid as I purchased most parts on sale during Cyber Monday and Black Friday. I also understand budgeting wasn't great, but for a lot of items I just got the most expensive one on biggest sale lol.$1,132.98 -

I use this pc to play games (mostly Cyberpunk 2077), surf internet and sometimes edit videos. That’s why I choose 13600K, i5 is enough for my demand, K for editing videos. 4070ti is bit expensive, and I don’t need much performance, but 4060 is not enough.$1,563.92 -
