Built this rig to do two things, kill my looming depression and enjoy great games with friends. For me, like many others gaming is a way to escape the daily nonsense or troubles we may be going through; my father did and passed that down to me way back in 1998. To this day, even though he is gone, gaming is a way for me to have fun, beat down depression, and remember him. This rig is primarily for gaming but will be used for content creation once I get the rest of what I will need. Games such as CP2077, CoD MW and CW, The Witcher 3, Valheim, Valorant, Battlefield, and many more. Due to my more FPS nature, I decided to pair the PC with an ASUS TUF VG259QM Gsync 280hz monitor with an IPS display and 1ms GTG. I may end up swapping out the ML and SP120 fans for a full set of QL fans and maybe add a few led light strips in there given the tinted side panel. That's about it for now. Hope you enjoy the build!

First would be gaming, I'm a steam junkie! Second would be video editing, i have a YouTube channel (Mindmeld Tech) and wanted something that would be a strong asset to the channel. Last would be streaming, i plan to start streaming this year. I mean why not? Could be fun!

Just got a 3070 this last week, so I figured I’d take some updated photos and share. Some of the current games I’m playing now are CoD Black Ops: Cold War, GTAV, RDR2, Valheim, Star Wars: Battlefront II, and Rocket League. For future upgrades, I ordered some more ram so I could have 32GBs. It’s a little overkill, but since it’s tax time, figured I’d splurge a little. I may get some white LED strips in the future as well, but I don’t know where to place them. I like my case, but my only gripe is that the tinting is too dark to see most of the parts without having the lights off. If anyone has an idea on how to brighten up the inside of a Corsair 4000D, please let me know.

This machine is a culmination of several years of saving and several months of hunting parts on every possible retailer. Sitting out in the lines in front of Micro Center on cold January mornings, watching dozens upon dozens of browser tabs from every possible online retailer refreshing across six displays. Finally, it runs. 2019/2020 were some pretty rough years so this is a present to myself. Cable management isn't complete because PCIE riser cable is not PCIE4.0 compatible, and the card has to come out again at some point, the radiator also has to be remounted because supplied screws weren't quite long enough, and there is temporary hardware installed for now. AIO head unit cover is not in place until radiator is remounted (need hose slack to install).Once all cable management is complete and parts are finally in place permanently, all the peel will come off. Practically 100% ASUS ROG build, hence the build name, ROG HARD.. Raid took some effort to get working as the documentation hasn't been updated for 5000 series CPU's. Currently the system is overclocked to 4.6ghz all cores, and GPU boosts to 2025. I built this monster for 3d/2d art, CAD, 3d printing, video editing, streaming, gaming, might try some mining too, just to learn the ropes. I live streamed the build form the living room while I am remodeling the spare room into a stream studio. Once I move it into the the studio I will set up the full triple monitor lay out.

For Work: Lightroom Photoshop Premier Pro After Effects Blender Handbrake For Play: DCS World MSFS 2020 Cyberpunk 2077 Baldurs Gate This thing is a beast and blow my old intel setup away. I need to get a better GPU support. The dowel rod is a little out of place. I am trying to come up with something to print, but I haven’t found anything yet. I may look to upgrade the cooling system in the future. It works pretty well but I think there is room for improvement. Gaming it hits low 60’s and under heavy load in video work it will get into the low 70’s. I am considering getting 2 more fan control and rgb boards. It works fine on my current set up but I can clean up the wiring in the back a lot more if I didn’t have all of it going to a single point.

I wanted to build a new desktop to upgrade from a 10+ year old one I've had that I kept upgrading. I went for the best value for money build I could put together that would be good as a generic all around PC for programming and gaming. I put together an MSI Tomahawk WiFi motherboard, with a Ryzen 5600X CPU, the first time in my life I build an AMD PC I have been building Intel based ones since the 386SX generation CPUs, and a Geforce RTX 3060 GPU, with a total of 32 GB Ram. I managed to keep the cost of everything including a Dell S3221Qs monitor at just around the 2K range including tax. I’ve always been a console player but my brother-in-law convinced me to try PC gaming and I got hooked. It started off as a budget build and quickly turned into a custom build utilizing as many Corsair products as possible, excluding the case. I knew I wanted to go with a white and black theme and I wanted the Antec DF600 Flux, but obviously the DF600 only comes in black. It was at that moment I decided to go custom. I tore the case apart and painted it matte white. Then I took apart my motherboard and painted as many things as I could matte white to match the case. I even took apart my brand new Asus 3060ti Dual OC and painted that white as well. It was a great experience building my own rig. I use it to play Division 2, Ghost Recon Wildlands & Breakpoint, RDR2, Far Cry 5 and 6 when it releases. Currently I have the Asus 3060ti but I’m hunting for an Asus ROG Strix 3070 or 3080 White Edition to match the rest of the build! I’m also in the process of selling my two 1080p monitors to get a curved 1440p ultra wide monitor.

Had an AMD A10 7700K Black Edition with Asrock fatal1ty fm2a88x+ killer board, 8GB Crucial Ballistix RAM 1600Mhz, MSI R9 270 Twin Frozr 2GB, 128GB Samsung 840 PRO SSD and 1TB WDBlue HDD, EVGA 500W 80 Plus PSU, in a Corsair Carbide Spec01 lol. This is my complete overhaul (2.5 years-ish old now. Newest part is GPU, originally had an Asus RX580 4GB) Built this purposely for casual gaming at 1440p high/ultra, photo editing and minor video work.. Running 2 monitors ACER Nitro VG271U and MSi Optix MAG24C.. (Yeah cringey cause not matching monitors lol) Peripherals are Razer Deathadder Elite mouse, Ornata Chroma Keyboard, Goliathus Extended Chroma mouse pad. (Might do an overhaul on these too..) For Audio I'm currently running FiiO E10K USB DAC/AMP to a Philips Fidelio X2HR open back headphones. Speakers are Logitech z623 system. Mic is a Fifine T669 with boom arm and shock mount. Aiming to upgrade CPU and Mobo in the future. Possibly to Ryzen 7 and X570 board. Maybe AIO cooling since I have the space.. Feel free to roast or suggest anything lol

By day I'm a cybersecurity expert and consultant so I needed a pc to handle that type of work. I'm also a big time gamer that wants to do some streaming and content creation on the side. In short, I wanted this to be a multipurpose rig that can do regular office work, gaming, and streaming a few times a week. I mostly play Super Smash Bros Ultimate competitively and PUBG or Warzone when I want to just chill with friends. Currently I have just started my Instagram for my own tech and gaming brand (@Roczgaming). My vision is to grow this name as its own brand where my team can create some outreach within our community through gaming. Provide an outlet and means for kids to network if they want to get into this industry, IT, or development and just be an overall cool thing to be a part of.

All we have is time during this pandemic and I figured it would be great to continue to be safe at home and hope to stream alongside discussion/podcasting videos. Building it was pretty tough and a bit stressful. There were moments when I wanted to give up and take it to microcenter to get the build over with but with perseverance, I did some trial(s) and error(s) and made sure to look at all the YouTube tutorials I could and eventually got it done. I have no experience with building or anything computer/tech related so this was completely new and a bit scary for me, since I was afraid to ruin my parts. I started building mid November 2020, completed my PC on Christmas day 2020 and finished my setup early January 2021. I do pretty well with strategy and adventure games like tomb raider and uncharted on PlayStation, those are my favorite type of games to play so I hope to find more like them for PC. However, I play a lot of battle royale type games for the fun of it and pass the time, however I really want to get into horror games because I have never been able to play on my own or for very long since I punk out lol but hopefully with streaming I can gain the confidence to do so and just take things lightly and as stress free as possible. I did add a mic, Logitech c922 camera, ring light and a stream deck; these photos were taken before. I plan to add two more vengeance sticks, 6 more Lian Li SL120 fans (on the bottom of the tower and to replace the fans that came with my Z73 AIO cooler) and RGB mod cables to have cleaner cable management. Currently decorating my background to involve lots of gold, green and white elements and I am so excited to develop and push my creativity to the stars to make my setup more of my happy place and I am so incredibly proud of what I created so far on my own. @aceinsol
