I have been trying to build one for a while, but when I finally got the funds for it, I could not get what I wanted, which is why I have a used GTX 970 as my GPU. I have been playing Destiny 2 and Overwatch on my machine, but also use it for 3D modeling for my Mechanical Engineering classes.

Music and gaming have been my strongest passions since I was a kid and just about a few months ago I have been able to finally collide my passions into one whole sweet gaming/music recording rig. I am just a newbie to all of these stuff and I have worked relentlessly as a struggling full time college student to be able to achieve this grand fantasy of mine (adult jokes aside lol). I have a broad range of taste for both categories. For gaming the games I play are Monster Hunter World, League of Legends, Shadow of the Tomb Raider and a lot of free games from Epic because why not?. I am still saving up for some music softwares that I can use to create music and slowly getting more and more into the photography scene and Computer Science. SO MANY POSSIBILITIES YET TO COME!!

I've since added a Samsung 1TB 2.5" SSD, replaced the GPU & PSU, and transplanted the components into a Corsair 465X iCUE RGB Gaming Case. I do plan on upgrading the mobo/cpu in the near future but for the time being, it does everything I need it to do game-wise. I use this PC in coalition with a streaming PC which I will link a build for down below that also includes an older GTX 1070 TI for the NVENC. So I saved up and built this. I do everything on this now, everywhere from watching lectures to working on large CAD files and playing games. I've been playing games that I can play with my friends, like Valorant, Phasmophobia, GTA, Rainbow 6 Siege and such. For these games, the 1660 Super can handle 1440 pretty well, so for my first build, I'm very satisfied. In hindsight, I think getting a 20 series card would've been nice, especially for 1440p gaming, but a lot of the budget went to the monitor (which I like very much and I can't even look at the laptop display now) and getting a worse monitor for a better graphics card wouldn't make much sense. Also, getting a semi-modular/modular PSU would've been a good idea. I think I cable-managed pretty well, but it wasn't exactly the easiest. The single RGB fan came with the case, and that is the only RGB part outside the little strip that comes on the Aorus mobo. I put it on the back as it's the only place I can see the lights from

Over the years I have replaced video cards, RAM, hard drives individually but I've never built the whole computer from start to finish. The last time I purchased or even upgraded a computer was at least 8 years ago. A lot changed but many of the basics still remain true. Before buying all of the parts I began watching videos on youtube to research, parts, trends and favored brands. I watched guys like JaysTwoCents to ground myself in the do's and don'ts of building as well as what to do once the computer is built. For three months watched video after video and then began planning my purchase. I've always been a fan of AMD. Even when their trustworthiness wasn't as quantifiable as it is now I would buy their products and never regretted it. My AMD focused build has been great and I'm excited to show off my first full build. I wanted a build which would take my gaming experience up a notch or two while providing an better overall pc experience during general usage. I'm very happy with its performance and built it with the ability to upgrade this build in the future rather than rebuilding from the ground up. I could upgrade the CPU, GPU or even dabble in some lite water cooling. Currently I play a lot of Pathfinder:Kingmaker and Stellaris when I'm in a Grand Strategy mood. In hindsight, I am something of a minimalist, I didn't feel the need for lots of RGB (can get a bit gaudy) but after seeing my GPU light up along with the lighting on my motherboard... I might have considered playing with the lighting a bit more. Or gone for more more power in the GPU with the 5700XT. Did you hear that? Sounded like Tim Allen growling in far off distance. lol

My friend PJ had committed to his first serious PC gaming experience, so I helped him out by recommending the best parts for his budget and (mostly) building it for him. He likes playing Action Adventures like Risk Of Rain 2, Darksiders II, and the Tomb Raider games, so I think he has plenty of power to max out these games now. Really, he can run anything he wants and I am jealous! In the future, we want this machine to pair with the Steam Index and be a serviceable VR gaming rig to play Half Life Alyx.

Its purpose is mainly to game, but it also serves as my general use computer doing things like browsing, and I've also been learning some blender. I upgraded from my old PC to this so I could better play cyberpunk 2077 when it comes out, that's also why i went with the cyberpunk aesthetic. Personally I plan on upgrading the graphics card when the new ones come out later this year and I would add RGB but to be honest I'm not a big fan of it when I'm gaming in the dark though it would be cool to add some rgb behind the samurai head logo.

Hello i built this pc from gaming to watching movies to a workstation for college. Did my research on some builds, was looking to spend a little over 1k. For the processor I slapped in a i5 9600k, paired it up with a RTX 2060 from MSI. For ram i went with the 8x2 3000 mhz Gskill Trident x RGB, and for my storage i recently upgraded from a ssd to a Crucial nvme m.2 1tb for alittle over 100 which was a STEAL ! For the motherboard i went with a simple Gygabyte z390 UD and for my case I went with a Corsair iCUE 220T, and a simple Cooler Master Hyper 212 RGB. By just reading the specs, its a pretty good gaming rig for playing games like COD, Fortnite, Valorant, Beam-Ng, Minecraft you name it. Peripherals wise, I haven't done much upgrading since they are still holding up. For my mouse I have a Razer Death adder Chroma which is a couple of years old, for my keyboard im rocking a Razer BlackWidow Ultimate 2016 edition NON-rgb which sucks. For my mouse pad I also rock a Razer Goliathus Extended Chroma gaming mousepad which I purchased not that long ago. Cant forget the speakers, i rock the Klipsch Promedia 2.1's. They are hella crispy, i have them mounted on my desk in a way that they look like they are floating ! I'm still rocking a Blue Snowball which i have not let go ever since i started youtube videos ( 10k subs :) ). My monitor which I just got a few days ago, I dont regret buying it all. Its an MSI Optix g32 Series. I picked it up because of the price, size as well as refresh rate ! I was rocking a 27 incher which I sold to upgrade and I dont regret selling it at all ( Well kinda since it was my first gaming monitor). I dont think anyone cares about this part ,but I also purchased a steering wheel ( Ferrari Racing WHeel Red Legend Edition )with pedals for a more realistic driving experience when i hop on Beam-NG Drive. If you haven't tried it out, you are missing OUT ! This concludes my whole setup, everything i've on my list i have purchased by self with my earnings and I dont regret spending it ! Thank you for reading my post :)

My whole group of friends all played computer games and constantly egged me on to get a pc. Unfortunately i did not have money and a job as I was still finishing high school. Soon as I finished I got a job at Target and started putting in the hours to finally get my pc. My build originally started simple with a ryzen 3 2200g, b450 motherboard, 500gb ssd, and a ryzen rx 480 red devil. I wanted to upgrade in the future but knew Target was not going to cut it because high end pc parts are a pretty penny. So I went to trade school and now im an electrician trainee making decent money. After a long job with a total house remodel I happened to be passing micro center on my way home. I was tired but thought "hey why not check it out and maybe treat myself for the hard work" plus I had just gotten a rather large check haha. A friendly employee helped me out and I ended up walking out with pretty much an entire new build worth of upgrades.

I am a lifelong PlayStation fanboy and decided to venture out into something new. I will still play PlayStation but my PC will be my main gaming platform to play adventure games such as Assassins Creed. In addition, I will be using this PC to play all the Xbox titles that I like such as Gears of War and Halo. This PC is pretty much the vehicle I will be using to enhance my gaming experience and get off of PlayStation Island. The secondary reason for this PC is to get used to windows 10 again. I have been an Apple fan boy as well and my family has been this way for about 10 years. The only PC I have in my house was a small ASUS from Walmart that was only used to run Microsoft Project for my project management courses in my MBA. Now I have this powerful computer to run my projects.

However I wanted and all around PC that I could do pretty much anything on. I have always bought the standard prebuilt machines over the years and wanted something to call my own not HP or Dell HAHA. It was a little overwhelming at first but the associates at Microcenter pointed me in the right direction for everything and asked really good questions. Very Helpful. But I'm extremely happy with the perfomance and products I chose. Now looking forward to the next build and upgrades. LOL

Okay, so this is my build for gaming/streaming on a budget over time. I call it Genie, because that's what the RGB is based off of, hex code pulled directly from samples of Alladin's Genie. The one thing I actually want more of on my board is fan headers, I'd like at least 5, but I'm not sure it's a thing. Also, I hope to eventually grab a case and board with USB-C front panel options. I think that if I had thought I would have saved less on RAM and gone with 3200 over 2666 OCed to 2866. But, I'm still figuring out the platform. The 2060 Super still leaves a bit to be desired when streaming, and becomes overtaken by RTX Voice, but the 3600 (non x, upgraded from 2600) leaves a large delta for upgrade on the GPU side. I run no OC on the CPU to take advantage of the 4.7ghz single-core PBO. My 2060 Super is OCed via MSI Afterburner on the automatic curve. The entire system is air cooled, and rarely pops over 80C even under max load.
