I use it mostly for gaming, some favorites include Minecraft, monster hunter world, sea of thieves, and subnautica. i love pc building and for my first build I think it looks pretty nice.

I wanted to build try SLI but I my allowance didn't allow me. Fast forward several years, I was able to build it for gaming and video editing. The games I play are Hitman II, GTA V, Genshin Impact, Bloons TD6, TF2 and Maplestory. I am still trying to financially recover from this. I would like to get some large hard drives in the future and perhaps install an HBA to increase the number of drives I can have or possibly a 10 gig card so I can potentially use my PC as a NAS. I am considering getting some RGB strips because you gotta have them. My system is kinda dark since I bought Noctuas over something like LLs from Corsair since cooling is a bigger priority and lighting can be done separately. The biggest mistake was getting cable extensions and not buying sleeved cables. I have a crazy amount of cable length to manage. The ARGB on my cooler master was loose with my motherboard and I cannot control the RGB through software. I really wish it were a better fit so I wouldn't have to pop the side panel off when I want to change colors.

Built exclusively for gaming when the lockdown initially hit and I knew I would be bored. Initially started as unicorn puke RGB but over the last year, I phased out of it and went to minimalistic monochrome type of look. Added a Star Wars Tie Interceptor as a bonus since it suits the theme. This was an entry way to building a PC that I wanted to build for several years. Initially I started streaming for a few months, then things started getting busy so I kind of left it behind. However, I'd absolutely get back into streaming (ProjectZuki - Twitch) Primary games: Destiny 2, The Division 2, Rocket League (if I'm in a good mood), 7 Days to Die, Cyberpunk Most games run solid on highest settings. Except Cyberpunk obviously, and literally no graphics card can run 7D2D without setting itself on fire first. Games run at a stable 75 FPS ultrawide 16:9 2560x1080 by LG Future upgrades: Graphics card. We all secretly have a thing for that precious Strix logo, their RTX 3060 is the largest I can fit in this case. Asus TUF 3070 is a solid choice as well. At this point, anything I can get my hands on is an upgrade but what I have now runs great and I refuse to support scalpers. If anything, I would have gone with a Lian Li 011 Dynamic. I may even switch in the near future. However with the Corsair 220T I enjoy the small just-enough size that is plenty spacious for sufficient airflow, and not too small that hardly anything fits.

I built this PC because I found case at Micro Center that caught my attention, the Maingear Vybe mid tower case that is in red. The purpose of this rig is basically for general computing, desktop computing, gaming. The games I play are usually FPS games from Roblox. I do plan on getting other fps games and BeamNG Drive also. I also used this to upload my gameplay videos, (channel: ix.cryorig_games) I upgraded my stock cooler to a vetroo V5, and added 2 more sticks of crucial ballistix 16gb kit at 3200mhz. Also, this build of mine was inspired after the SRT Hellcat, so the red and black theme will be perfect. I also added in some sleeved extensions from inland, and it really matches my build. My case fans are Arctic bioniX and Arctic P12 PWM PST's. Bitwit's videos also inspired me to make a build this nice!

My gaming rig, used mostly for Destiny 2, Escape From Tarkov, Battlefield 4, Far Cry, BioShock, Batman, and CS:GO. I also use this setup for Hi-Res music, it’s connected to my receiver and speakers as well as my headphone amps, and headphones. I also used this to record and digitize my entire record catalog in 192 kHz WAV. This build was designed to have very minimal RGB, and for the little it does have stand out inside a case with dark tinted tempered glass. Only a small line on the motherboard VRM heat sync, the ram sticks, and the GPU have RGB, and I went with a soft orange color to match the glow of the tubes on one of my amplifiers. For future upgrades, I would really like to get a matching RAM kit and have 32GB of RAM. However the more pressing upgrade is the GPU, I already had the 1660ti that is in it now, which is pretty serviceable. But I am trying to get a 3080 for a reasonable price so that my 1440p ultra wide can actually go to it’s full 144hz. I would also like to get some custom sleeved black cables at some point to really neaten up the cable situation, but I think it looks great for now with the stock cables. The biggest focus for me was performance and understated style and also minimal size for an ATX chassis, with essentially all black components, and a dark tint on the case glass. I went for a cooler that was going to more than handle my 5900x with a slight OC, and thankfully the 280mm rad fits perfectly in the front of my case. I also made sure to take advantage of my PCIe 4.0 compatible m.2 slot by putting in a 1TB NVMe PCIe 4.0 drive for games, and a 500gb PCIe 3.0 NVMe for my boot drive. My brother and I put a massive focus on correctly managing the cables, and making sure it was all as clean as possible. At the end of the day this is essentially my dream PC, and I cannot wait to finish getting the rest of the parts I need to be at the maximum potential for this build. Parts List: Tower: AMD Ryzen 9 5900x, MSI Gaming X 1660 ti, Gigabyte Aorus x570 Elite, Sabrent Rocket 4.0 1TB, WD Blue 500GB, 16GB Crucial Ballistix RAM, 2x 2TB Seagate Barracuda HDD, EVGA Supernova GA 850w PSU, Arctic Liquid Freezer II 280mm CLC Monitors: 24" AOC 24G1WG4 1920x1080 144hz, Acer Nitro 34" XV340CK P ultrawide 3440x1440 144hz Audio: Sennheiser x Massdrop HD6XX, Hifiman Sundara, Hifiman x Massdrop HE-4XX, XDuoo TA-03S tube amplifier, Drop O2 + Grace SDAC, Harmon/Kardon Aura Studio 2 Hifi setup: Pioneer SX-10AE, Pioneer PL-520 turntable, ELAC Debut 2.0 B6.2 speakers Peripherals: Corsair Harpoon Wireless, KBD Fans Tofu 65 Acrylic, with Kailh Box Jades

I wanted to get something a lot newer and gaming ready. out of all the things that I have, the only thing I need to upgrade is the GPU. Still using an ASUS GTX 790 on loan from nephew. I think that the B550 and 3600 will be good for now. Although I have 16gb of memory, I will upgrade to 32 or maybe 64gb in the future, but for now, the GPU is top priority.

I was aiming to do something that would be good for gaming, for light video editing (no 4k or something like that), CAD applications, and that it would be under a reasonable price. Originally I didn't have a CPU cooler (only the included AMD wraith stealth) and a used 8Gb RX580. I was able to upgrade the CPU cooler recently as well as the GPU to an RX6700xt thanks to a friend that was able to snatch one from one of the AMD drops. The main upgrades I would like to do in the future would be the CPU, the CPU cooler, the PSU and maaaaybe the case just because I would like to have the 5950x and I'm not sure if I'll be able to fit a cooler big enough for it inside my case, but so far this PC does everything I need it to do.

I mainly use it for schoolwork, audio production, light video editing, and some gaming when time allows. As of now it has about 1.5 terabytes of storage, which is filling up quickly. I use an ancient seagate barracuda 7200rpm HDD for mass storage, and I have an NVMe drive that I boot windows from. I don't overclock as I do not have a cpu capable of doing so. The build is meant to be flashy and ridiculous, even if it may be a mess of wires on the inside. I got my cpu and motherboard from my local microcenter when they had a discount on intel's 10th generation lineup. Ended up building a great computer from parts mostly from there, at a fairly decent price.

I made this build to get back into 3d animation, which is something I haven't been able to do for a long time due to the lack of decent computer. What spurred on the build was winning the i9-10900K from Intel and LMG for their LTX Gold Sample giveaway. I have been slowly re learning 3d animation with it but also enjoy some gaming, I mainly play Gears 5, but also Minecraft, and Rise of the Tomb Raider. I do plan to double the RAM and I wish I would have looked into the cooler a little more, the 240R is a little small for my i9-10900K, the temps are fine when left stock but I would like to overclock it and as soon as I do the temps go through the roof and I thermal throttle almost instantly. I was lucky enough to be able to get a 3070 right before the prices became unbelievably high but if the market were normal at the time I would have liked to get either a 3080 or ideally a 3090 since more VRAM is king with 3d applications, but over all I'm not going to complain since at least I was able to get a decent GPU at a decent price. One other thing I would have also done differently had I have known more before hand was I would have gotten an ASUS motherboard specifically for the RGB software it uses, Gigabytes RGB software is VERY limiting and overall feels like they don't really care to make it great, whereas from what I've seen about the ASUS one there are a lot more and better options. I would like to also get the same fans for everywhere because the colours are different enough between the 2 different types of fans I'm using.
