Built back when I thought I'd still get to play games while having a newborn / toddler. Yes I meant to mount the Kraken cooling plate like that, anything to make sure air stays out of the pump since the ram wouldn't let me mount the radiator on top :P$1,402.82 -

I wanted to create my first hard line tubing build, and wanted to try to make rgb look good. So I went with a minimalist color palette to let the rgb shine, among the black, nickel, and clear components. I also wanted to try a vertical gpu mount, which lead me down the path of creating 3d printed parts as the stuck mount was unappealing to me. I also have included my fiber 10gbit nic behind the gpu, another factor that influenced my vertical bracket design. Lian Li provides the 3d model for my case freely, which made the prototyping phase much faster. In hindsight I wish I had incorporated a modification to the top cover plate to allow greater airflow, the system can get quite toasty with a few games like Cyberpunk. I work from home and game on the same pc, so I don't have any channel or such to promote. Since I am limited to a few photos here without context, I would like to share the forum link where I have my full build log you can check out for additional photos https://hardforum.com/threads/project-black-glass.2015333/$5,737.21 -

With all this talk about bigger, fatter and hotter graphic cards coming along, especially with them being PCIE 5.0 and the possible mess of 5.0 Risers, I decided to upgrade my Snowman 13.7L build into a classic style build. I would skip over any riser cable awkwardness and issues, come back to aircooling to reduce any mishaps with water cooling, as well as giving me access to bigger PSUs and GPU. I present, the Chonky Snowman. :D This has to be my favorite MATX case considering what I can fit in this case. . Mechanic Master C28 Specs Dimensions: 342mm in length x 284mm in height x 185mm in width = 17.97L Max CPU Height: 162mm, 280mm water cooling possible. Max GPU Size: 335mm in length, 160mm in height, 80mm in width. Compatible Motherboards: ITX, DTX, and MATX. PSU: SFX, SFX-L, or ATX (140mm or less for cable management). Basically, a smaller NR200P with better compatibility. :D The sheer amount of fans in the build was amazing. I managed to fit 3 Lian Li Infinity fans on the CPU cooler, 1 in the back to exhaust and 2 on top to exhaust. I am able to fit 2 more intake fans below the CPU (120mm or 140mm). I am waiting to see how thick the next gen card will be before I fit intake fans below. I also installed a CPU monitoring screen where I can easily look at my CPU and GPU temperatures at any given moment. I overclocked the RAM up from its 3200 C16 to 3600 C16. Not the biggest overclock, but easy enough to do without any system crashes. I like my builds quiet, so even with a slower fan noise, temperatures do not go up much. Thermalright Frost Commander is probably one of the best white air cooling towers that you can fit in this case. I am definitely prepared for the next gen CPUs and GPU options with this case.$2,209.93 -
