It was fun building in it, with all it's unique ways of routing cables. I'll especially miss the 5.25" drive bays, but it's something that has to be done. Eventually this build, along with the streaming equipment, will become my sister's, while the parts from the pre-built with other components will belong to myself. I'm excited for when this moment arrives, but I'll miss the looks and functionality of this discontinued case. As for future plans, the computer will most likely remain intact besides the case. Although the Corsair SPEC-02 is a great case, which offers a feature that most cases eliminated, those few inches are a bit too long for the desk. For that particular reason, I'm hoping to replace my current case with the Corsair Carbide 220T. I'm also looking forward to a secondary build, which will focus on content creation. ASUS's ProArt line has been something that I've been interested in ever since it's creation. When the B550 version was in stock at my Fairfax Micro Center, I eagerly looked over the box, seeing all of the unique features that it offered. With the newest X570 version, it has everything that I would ever need, without having to worry about bandwidth limitations. I've been looking for a place to make this purchase in-person and not many places carry this particular board. As this board is a prosumer motherboard, I can understand why not many places have the X570 ProArt in-stock and I'm in no rush to make this transaction; I'll slowly gather up parts, just like I did for Redshift. Transitioning to Ryzen was the main goal for Redshift and I'm glad that I was able to do it. Now I have a new goal to create a prosumer-based computer for content creation.$1,874.05 -

This was my first small form factor (SFF) ITX motherboard build after many years of experience with ATX computers. It was a joy to build in this Sliger SM570 case. But overall not cheap even buying used and open box. Cable management wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be (watch Youtube video and use use zip ties). Patience is required to go back and optimize cable pathways. PC Partpicker was not accurate in showing if a motherboard would fit with the NZXT (specifically the Gigabyte Vision Z590i was NOT compatible unless you were willing to only use 1 of 2 DDR memory slots). The Nvidia 3080 FE is not optimal for this sandwich style SFF case because the GPU uses a pass through cooling system that is blocked by the PSU and riser cable, but temperatures have been comparable to the prior ATX build it was in.$2,029.94 -

PC built for casual gaming and streaming with friends but has the power and specs to go on for hardcore content creation. I mainly use it for playing steam games and streaming on discord with friends. The PC handles pretty much any current hardcore graphic intensive games with ease but requires some more cooling options. Currently running a AIO for the CPU cooling and I intend to add more case fans because the current tower i'm using is so spacious and didn't come with any built in fans/cooling. So far I've played World of Warcraft, League of Legends, Valorant, Monster Hunter World, Final Fantasy XIV and some other steam games on here.$1,776.92 -

Had my friend help me pick out the parts and assemble it. I installed all the parts myself. Only thing I didn't do was the wiring and cable management. This is a huge upgrade over my 1650 dell laptop. Mainly use it for playing Fortnite, GTA V & Forza Horizon 5 but I would also like to start streaming. I don't plan on upgrading this system for a long time but if I did upgrade it, I would get either 32gb of RGB Ram or a RGB GPU Sag bracket. Also let my friend take some beauty shots of it.$1,525.60 -

Had my friend help me build this beauty of a PC and im so happy the way it turned out. Huge upgrade over my old 1650 laptop. Me & my friend went to microcenter one morning and bought almost everything for the build there including the GPU. This was my first time building a PC and it honestly wasn't very hard. I did everything excepting for the cable managing. I mainly use this gaming PC for playing games like Fortnite, Call of Duty, GTA V, & Forza Horizon 5. I also plan on doing some streaming soon. Honestly I don't plan on upgrading anything in this pc in the near future. Only thing I would upgrade would be to go to 32gb of ram and maybe add a gpu sag bracket. And of course both of those things will be RGB. But I dont plan to do those upgrades anytime soon.$1,570.60 -

Past: I’ve had a passion for building computers ever since I was a freshman in high school. Since then, I would stay up nights watching BitWit and Linus. After countless hours, I finally decided on the parts I’ll infuse into my dream PC. The Beginning: Building a PC without even working, especially in a hispanic household had most of it’s disappointments. Being told your vision was only just a matter of time before I gave up on it, bummed me out a lot but I never gave up! Fortunately, after explaining that this will enhance my skill and passion in Hardware Engineering and Software, they allowed me and even helped me. After 1-2 months and camping outside of this Micro Center for a GPU (although I didn’t get the one I wanted but I was desperate), I finally finished. It booted up perfectly. Mid Journey: However… It wasn’t what I wanted it to be. It wasn’t near what I wanted my DREAM PC to be. After being hired for the summer, I made money and invested most of it to upgrading. I upgraded my CPU from a Ryzen 5 3600 to Ryzen 7 3700x. I knew my dream case was the Lian Li O11D Mini and with the help of a fellow Micro Center employee, I was encouraged on going through with it! I added case fans and an extra 16GB of RAM which was pricey, but very worth it haha. (A new SFX Power Supply to accommodate with the new case as well. The End of an Era/Issues: After installation of the Motherboard, I realized there wasn't space in the back from the case to mount my AIO. I panicked because I wasn't planning on using the included wraith cooler with my CPU. My AIO pump is so cute! "How could I ever let it go" I thought. I stared for a moment and realized I could install the AIO mount on the Motherboard and then screw the motherboard in. Once again, I was relieved from devestation. After installing everything in the new case, I booted it up. I noticed my hard drive would say 50% usage and it worried me a lot. I frantically searched it up but would be led to a dead end. I never really understood as to why it did that but I assumed it was just because of CPU change. A day later, I tried booting it up for my usual gaming mornings but it turned off in a span of 5 minutes. My worry escalated and I unplugged everything to avoid further damage. I ended up going to Micro Center for a Diagnostic and found out my CPU was nearly cooking itself so it would turn off to protect itself. I actually inserted the CPU pump wire into the wrong header which relieved me because I was afraid I’d have to spend more money on something. After thanking the technicians, I went on my way home to try booting it up and to my surprise, it was a successful startup. There was no powering off which relieved me even more. The only upgrade I have left is a 30 series as I intended to get in April but couldn’t. Though I’m totally okay with what I got (Asus ROG 2060 OC). I’m beyond grateful for my journey and anyone who helped me along with it. Ongoing possible issue: My CPU temp is usually at 55°C during startup but stays at 60-70°C during full load. Is this healthy? The people of Reddit say it’s normal temps from a Ryzen 7 3700x Thank you to everyone who sees this! You’re amazing, loved and appreciated! Have a great day <3 ☆ I try not to submit to the sterotype of pink gamer girls but how could I not?? It's so cute! Don't get me wrong, I sometimes alternate between more nature-y, earth-y colors or simple blues and yellows too lol$2,690.79 -

I built this setup to more comfortably game and work for long hours at a time. Before, I was gaming on a 60 hz TV which had horrible input lag and was super limiting. Now that I have a 1440p 144hz monitor, I can really take advantage of that true PC gaming power! I play various games and also create digital content. I normally enjoy FPS games like Apex Legends and Warzone, but I have been wanting to get into more RPG-esque games as well. When I'm creating, I use the Adobe suite, more specifically Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere. This build has made my workflow so much more efficient and powerful.$1,839.92 -
