Most recent build a few years back utilized a 7700k paired with a 1080 TI and so I wanted to try an AMD CPU. Really fun building this one and I’m really pleased with the performance. I primarily wanted to have a build focused on gaming (Call of Duty, Borderlands 3, Battlefield, and other upcoming games) but also will need to support virtual machines and possibly video rendering. Also wanted room to overlock in the future. No problems with temps while gaming, pretty much upper 60’s c to 70’s c. *Samsung 960 Pro m.2 taken from my other build to use as a boot drive for OS (OS boot times are very fast). Used the Lian Li SL 120 fans for the case and Kraken Z73 (the daisy chaining is pretty cool). I do want to note that the case fans RGB cables are plugged into the fan controller that the 3x fan pack comes with, which is then plugged into the internal USB header (fan cables are then connected to fan ports on motherboard). The AIO is connected to CPU OPT and the radiator fans are connected to CPU Fan. Although the motherboard will fit in the standard Lian Li Dynamic case, I wanted more space (especially with the thicker PSU cables of the EVGA P2 1000!) so I opted for the XL. Highly recommended with the eATX board. Also happened to walk into Microcenter which had the RTX 3080 TI in stock, so I was glad to pick that up :).

I built this rig because I have a passion for building Pcs and wanted to take advantage of downtime during the pandemic as I figured if not now then when? It had been about 11 years since I built a rig for myself though I have built a few for others over that period of time. Coming from a 1st Gen Sandybridge 2700K (which still works perfectly might I add.) This thing is pure beast, my only regret is that I didn't build a Ryzen Threadripper. I build mobile apps, websites and graphic design, also do a little music production. In this build I have a: Ryzen 9 5950x recently upgraded from 3900x Asrock Taichi x570 MB Asrock 5700xt tiachi 64GB x Gskill trident ram @ 3600mhz 3x 980 PRO PCIE 4.0 NVME 1x team group ssd 6x Thermaltake pure rgb fans 2x 360mm radiators Phantek Evolv X with custom front panel Cable mods cable extensions Custom loop Would like to upgrade graphic card to 6900xt or 3090. In hindsight would have went with a different case I also play Ghost Recon in my spare time, and this system run amazingly.

This is my 2nd PC build, the first build was kind of a budget build, which suited my needs back then, but eventually started to show its age. I built this PC to be used for Gaming, Streaming, Video Editing, and General Usage. I wanted to kind of future proof this Build atleast for the next few years to come, so I went a little overboard on certain things. Gaming (R6S, Pubg, WoW, LoL, Battlefield and Valheim) I finished building this pc a week ago. (When I finally got my hands on a RTX 3080 FE) My cats spend their time increasing the loop temperature by 5C, but thats ok since I love my cats I am really satisfied with this build; as to why I used all fittings for the loop, it's because I originally made one or two connections with all fittings and I really liked the way they looked so I went back to Microcenter and got a bunch more Black Sparkle Bitspower fittings to finish off the build. It was just strangely appealing to me to use all fittings. I bought some cables to connect ARGB connectors to the Corsair Lighting Node Pro and Corsair Commander; so I can controller every LED in this build using ICUE software. Actual Price Estimation is around $4000-$5000

I Built this computer for GTAV Roleplay, I was gonna bring Real World Justice to GTA Online. But! Fortunately for me I discovered the world of PC Gaming before I got too far into that so it no doubt saved me from what would have otherwise been an overtly Toxic Death. Anyways! The build sort of evolved from there, I started with a 3800x and 5700xt with like 32 Gigs of ram, but now its spiraled out of control into a 5950x with a 6900XT, 64 gigs of Ram because ya know, why compromise? Haven't done the Custom loop yet as I bend hardline tubing like a Helicopter crashes so it would probably be in the best interest of myself as my system that I leave that alone for the time being. SO! Thats about the rundown on the build, I'm planning on upgrading it through the years as new parts come out, would like to try to keep it All AMD, but depends on how the next couple of years go. Either way, thanks for looking.

Custom water cooled build with a 5950x OC'd to 5.1ghz, EVGA FTW3 ultra 3090 and Corsair Vengeance RGB 32gb ram @4000mhz. Funny story about my CPU. Micro Center in Rockville Md. was showing one in stock. So I drove 2hrs and once I got there they told me it was a error on the website. I was so bummed out.. I started driving home and decided to check at another Micro Center in Parkville Md. I jokingly ask a sales person if they had a 5950's expecting him to say no. He then said that he think's they just received a handful just a few minutes ago. I almost fell over with excitement. OK, this is my second pc build and my first custom water pc. I built this rig for gaming mainly, But also have been flirting with xoc. Best port royal score is 14028. Wanna break that 15,000. Time Spy Extreme 10543. I consider my self a hard core gamer, have about 4000 hours in destiny. I play a lot of story driven games Witcher3, Cyberpunk, Ghost of Tsushima, Nier Automata and Half Life Alex. I built this PC just to be able to play Cyberpunk in 4k. Lol Kind of let down by the game. One thing I wish I would have done different was use all EK parts. Rads and CPU cooler. But I'm proud of the job I did on this pc. I had a lot of fun planning out the build and mapping out the piping. And I hope you enjoy the pictures. Cheers.

Being both an avid gamer & online entrepreneur, I wanted to create a rustic & minimal space that could fit the purpose of both passions. I decided to build a workshop style desk from Douglas Fir wood & use that to begin building the theme of my setup. I wanted it to come off with a "Gentleman" vibe, which is why I decided to name it "The Gentleman's Workshop". When building out my PC, I wanted RGB but a very humble RGB that would blend well with the warm tones of the Edison bulbs and space. That's why I decided to choose orange, however, these can be changed at anytime to switch up the aesthetics. I'm sure you also notice the Space X touch within the case. I chose this as my Kraken Z73 background to stay inspired when I'm in work mode. Now that my build is complete, when I'm not running my E-commerce businesses online, I enjoy playing titles like Star Citizen, Hell Let Loose, Flight Simulator VR, & occasionally World of Warcraft. I also enjoy just about any other common FPS & MMORPG. As future changes to the build go, I would maybe consider swapping out the Motherboard for something higher quality and more updated but for now, my MSI X570 Gaming Edge Wifi gets the job done! Overall, I'm extremely happy with the build and will most likely keep it minimal and clean. Less is more here! **All components purchased at my local Microcenter**

The Chimera is a powerhouse machine designed to be both an aesthetic statement as well as fully functional for streaming... The Chimera is a powerhouse machine designed to be both an aesthetic statement as well as fully functional for streaming whatever games I want to stream. It was given the name Chimera as a suggestion from a viewer that was watching me upgrade the cooling loop on Twitch. The original name of this system was the Kraken. For me monsters and demons are part of my theme thus every one of my personal builds will be named after some sort of "dark" creature. This is currently version 2.0 of this build as I have learned and tried new things. I started out with a kit that I got from Alphacool with a Laing DDC pump and single 360x30mm radiator that I had expanded to two of as well as the Helix reservoir and the V2 DPP 755. Version 1.5 as described is what I had been running for my cooling for the last year. I decided that since I had to take everything apart for the one year cleaning event that I might as well take the opportunity to go ahead and upgrade the loop as a whole. There was a leak that occurred during my first build iteration that caused the RGB lighting in the GPU block to short out, which is something that is getting fixed at the beginning of April. I'm also taking that opportunity to drain the loop and make the loop order a little more efficient. This has been my first liquid cooling loop, and I chose this particular case to build into because of the unboxing video JayzTwoCents did on it. One of the biggest issues I had when it came to the upgrades I've done on the loop thus far was the pressure of the loop itself. In one iteration I considered I was going to have an Eisball pump/res combo but that ended up getting scratched. While I love everything about this build once I got everything working and without any leaking I realized a few things I could have, and will be doing differently as I already have the parts needed on order. First some extra 90º fittings, one of which will be getting placed on the bottom of the reservoir with a 10mm extension. From there I'm going to take the quick disconnect from the bottom radiator and move it to the pump with the black top's out port with a 90º fitting while taking another 90º fitting and putting it on the acrylic top pump with a direct downflow into the bottom radiator. I realized this should have been done solely for the purpose of being able to remove the bottom and front rads with the pumps and reservoir still attached without having to drain either one after taking a good long hard look at the loop order. Along with replacing the RGB strip in my GPU block I will be replacing the stock Red Devil backplate with one made by Alphacool and adding a 45º fitting on the end of the port that it fills the top radiator thru allowing a shorter run there as well. I'm switching the in/out ports on the back radiator and rerouting the connection between the two radiators to go around the quick disconnect on the reservoir while also adding a final quick disconnect to the front radiator allowing both radiators to be removed without having to drain the loop, if need be. The backplate replacement is only to help clean things up in the look. Other little additions are the 90º 24-pin ATX and two 8-pin 180º PCI-E power adapters and the LinkUp PCI-E Gen 4 riser cable. The first few photos are the original layout I attempted a year ago with the kit I bought from Alphacool, followed by the final layout once I got the Helix res and D5 pump. The third photo is of an iteration I had considered using the Alphacool Eisball pump/res combo that ended up not working out. All of the rest of the photos are of the build as it currently sits in my office.

This machine is a culmination of several years of saving and several months of hunting parts on every possible retailer. Sitting out in the lines in front of Micro Center on cold January mornings, watching dozens upon dozens of browser tabs from every possible online retailer refreshing across six displays. Finally, it runs. 2019/2020 were some pretty rough years so this is a present to myself. Cable management isn't complete because PCIE riser cable is not PCIE4.0 compatible, and the card has to come out again at some point, the radiator also has to be remounted because supplied screws weren't quite long enough, and there is temporary hardware installed for now. AIO head unit cover is not in place until radiator is remounted (need hose slack to install).Once all cable management is complete and parts are finally in place permanently, all the peel will come off. Practically 100% ASUS ROG build, hence the build name, ROG HARD.. Raid took some effort to get working as the documentation hasn't been updated for 5000 series CPU's. Currently the system is overclocked to 4.6ghz all cores, and GPU boosts to 2025. I built this monster for 3d/2d art, CAD, 3d printing, video editing, streaming, gaming, might try some mining too, just to learn the ropes. I live streamed the build form the living room while I am remodeling the spare room into a stream studio. Once I move it into the the studio I will set up the full triple monitor lay out.

Since my primary workflow is in Premiere I decided to go with the Ryzen 9 3950X paired with an RTX 2060 Super SC Ultra 8gb. Since I usually travel for work (pre-COVID) I also needed something portable. Hence choosing the Sliger SM580. At 15.8 liters it's pretty compact and easy to transport when I need my workstation mobile. MOBO is a Gigabyte B550 I AORUS PRO AX, with Team T-FORCE VULCAN Z 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200, SAMSUNG 970 EVO M.2 2280 1TB, Sabrent 1TB Rocket NVMe 4.0 Gen4 PCIe M.2 on the back. PSU is a Seasonic FOCUS SGX-650, 650W 80+, and to keep things cool I'm using the NZXT Kraken X63. OC is 4.35 at 1.15v with XMP enabled (Mem & FCLK @1600) This is my first build and fortunately, it has been put to work as quickly as I could get it running! Looking forward to maybe trying to go smaller... ;)

I built this computer to game, edit my photography, and create 4k video content for YouTube or clients. I mostly play Rocket League (GC), CoD Warzone, and Fall Guys. I'm about to start my own YouTube channel to teach what I've learned on photography and videography, but I've have been creating content for other channels that aren't mine. It's been a dream of mine to give back to the YouTube community because I've learned so much there. I've been waiting for a worthwile upgrade on the GPU, and the RTX 3080 seems to be the perfect card for me. Can't wait to get it and put it to the test.

I built this gaming rig in order to work with my son who is really into computers now. We built in a Thermaltake Tower 900 case using an ASUS AMD AM4 ROG X570 Crosshair VIII Hero (Wi-Fi) with a 3950X CPU. We are running a FTW3 Ultra 2080 Ti with an custom EKWB. Both CPU and GPU are piped into a custom loop with a 480mm EKWB radiator, fittings, D-5 pump, clear tubing and EKWB acid green fluid for the life blood. There are a total of 11 RGB fans mounted in the case. There is 2TB of Gen 4 M.2 storage, 1 TB of Gen 3 M.2 storage, and 2TB of storage on a 7200RPM standard hard drive. We acquired all of the pieces over several months and began final assembly in April this year and completed the build in around a week in our spare time. It was a lot of fun building this and having my son (who is a senior this year) assisting on the build. It games like a champ without ever getting warmer then mid 70C. I play Control, BF-5, Red Dead 2, Overwatch, and multiple other games whenever I have the chance. Really looking forward to the reviews on the new 30 series cards! I also have a second Intel build which is in desperate need of a 30 series GPU. It is a 9900K on an Aorus Xtreme MOBO, built inside of the new White NZXT 710I case. It currently has a leftover emergency use only 1050 Ti in it and it is not happy, ;-)

Prebuilt options near specs I required were $500-$1000 more than budget allowed. I’m fairly tech savvy so decided to give custom pc building a go. After a solid month of research and Microcenter’s pc builder I pulled the trigger. The X570 motherboard has plenty of room for expansion and upgrades. Combined with AMD chip allows utilization of gen 4 M.2. Pcie slots allow for future graphics card upgrades. 850w power supply leaves plenty of headroom for expansion and upgrades. In order to stay in budget I sacrificed slightly on graphics card. Won’t effect functionality until switching to 2020 software upgrade later in 2021. Also saved on ram and case. Pretty pleased with case airflow. Need to swap fans to push air thru radiator but case is a pain and don’t want to remove cooler from cpu again. Rewired entire build after a couple weeks. Plenty of room and openings to secure groups based on type or location of wire origin. Ram’s ok. Will upgrade to 32g cards eventually and move to lower latency. When said and done I have a solid workhorse that will carry me thru several future upgrades and remain software capable for several years. Took one nerve racking night and an afternoon to assemble. The education of hands on assembly and initial setup was worth the cost to play. Didn’t fry anything!

The sole purpose was for video editing and music creation. Secondly was to play some light gaming and virtual lab testing system. I am a Musician/IT technician, and music/video is a big part of what I do. So, I needed something that could handle both, and do other things in the process without having to choose weather to close programs because the components are lacking. I use Adobe premiere, photoshop, aftereffects, media encoder, and DaVinci Resolve for video creation and editing. For music I use Pro Tools and Reason. For games I do mostly racing and sports. For my virtual system I use VMware for my test labs for work. With all that said, building something powerful, stable and can handle everything is crucial. I have always used intel for my pass builds but I decided to take a jump to AMD for the first time and must its been great. Went with the Ryzen 3950x and it just powers through everything. Check out the parts I used, some might be overkill but why not lol. I do not like ordering things online and having to wait. So, Microcenter was just the best place to get all the parts I needed to create this build. Just want to say thank you and for making my dream possible.
