I also use this PC for general purpose. I had done a Kaggle competition on this PC too! I have this computer since 2013. My original GPU was GTX 660ti, but it died last year. I got a GTX 760 as a replacement. I don't remember the price of each parts anymore. I think it was roughly around 800~900 USD.$52.99 -

This build was originally built in late 2018 as a friend's first Gaming PC, paired with a 1080p 144Hz monitor. It was primarily used to play esports titles such as Overwatch and Valorant, as well as some triple-a shooters such as Borderlands 3. He has since moved on to a new upgrade with an i5-11600K and RTX 3070, but I wanted to repurpose his old build and see how it performs in 2023. The computer is an all purpose desktop PC for my home entertainment and general tinkering needs. I like playing games, building keyboards, assembling/modding things at the desk while listening to music and watching videos. PC is built to be silent with 7x Noctua.Chromax fans and NH-U12s heatsink. Stuck in EVGA queue since 1/20.$89.99 -

I built it so my parents could watch K Dramas and stream them to the TV. It's also used for basic web browsing, youtube, and emails. It's a messy build, but it's not really meant to look nice and it gets the intended job done perfectly fine.$92.90 -

I saw a listing for a low profile 1030 and an old SFF office PC both going for cheap, so I picked both up to fiddle with. I ended up making a computer capable of running Valorant and League (or casual web browsing) for guests that come over. Other upgrades to this small office PC came from spare parts that I had lying around (either from past builds or friends gifting me free parts that they did not have any use for anymore).$97.00 -

This was built using spare parts I had lying around after getting a good deal on 96 TB of used hard drives. The only new part in this build was the 5600G I got at microcenter. Currently the server is running openmediavualt on a 500 GB sata m.2 and its used as a cloud storage server and hosting other services such as Minecraft servers. There are 8 8TB Seagate drives running in raid 10 connected to a LSI 9207 storage controller (that has a fan tied to it lol) and 2 14TB Seagate drives.$108.99 -

I wanted to build a $100 PC that could play Elden Ring...and by "play" I mean good enough where I could at least beat a boss. And we did it! Performance wasn't spectacular (we were in the 20-25 FPS range on the lowest settings, 1080p), but it technically worked. It was really hard to do, but we got it done :) YT Channel: OzTalksHW$109.00 -

I repurposed an old Lenovo K450e I purchased in 2014 by upgrading a few components. This PC is now capable of light 1440p gaming and general web browsing and other applications. I spent around $50 on a i7-4790 and a 8GB stick of RAM to complement the 8GB stick already present. With a Seasonic 750W PSU and an EVGA RTX 2060 SC Ultra from my main PC, this build has come together quite nicely.$120.00 -

Started using Plex for streaming personal media but filled up the 8TB external HDD pretty quick! Figured this was the perfect opportunity to get into the world of servers. I wanted something that was SFF, dead silent, had plenty of HDD bays, and still looked good to set on my desk. Didn't like the look of the Node 304 or NR200 but when the SSUPD Meshlicious came out, I knew I could make it unique and exactly what I wanted. Decided to upgrade my gaming rig during this process and use those parts for the server or buy used. Server GPU was omitted since I have my own gaming rig which can handle heavy duties if necessary. Check out both rigs in the last photo! Using unRAID has been a great choice of server OS and an amazing learning tool to get into servers! Since it's used primarily for Plex by my family, drives are spun down most of the time. Plex libraries are split up into different drives allowing for a single HDD spin up at a time depending on the movie/show. The system remains dead silent, even when 1 or 2 drives are in use. Currently have 3x 18TB Seagate Exos HDDs and 6x 6TB Seagate Ironwolf HDDs. Noise and thermals have been a non-issue. Even during 24-hour data transfer to all drives at once, HDDs never hit above 38 degrees. Incredibly happy with the way it came out and couldn't recommend the SSUPD Meshlicious enough as an insanely versatile and beautiful SFF case! Custom Mods: - Created a 3x triple HDD sled system within the GPU chamber for a capacity of 9x HDDs. Drives mounted using 3/8" foam material as vibration dampeners. Each HDD sled has 0.125" clearance between each other allowing airflow. Sleds are bottom-mounted w/ screws and friction magnetic mounted on top with absolutely no wobble without being turned completely 90 degrees. Able to unscrew from the bottom of the case and slide out the top for ease of adding HDDs. - Thermalright AXP-90I w/ Noctua NF-A12x15 Chromax installed using custom 1mm steel rod. - 4x Arctic P8 PWM PST CO in rear HDD chamber using magnetic tape. - 8600k delidded (9900k delidded for gaming rig). - Corsair SF600 Gold w/ Noctua NF-A9x14 fan swap (Corsair SF750 Platinum for gaming rig). - Painted custom hardware matte black. - Added RGB last minute for extra server fps! Named Beast after it's Apevia BEAST Power Supply. Now, it needs taken out back behind the barn and shot.
