He was given a budget of $5,000 and he was able to use the brand new Intel 9900KS processor. Linus decided to use the Asus TUF Gaming GT501 case with Corsair RGB fans. He built a very powerful PC including 2 Nvidia RTX 2080 TI graphics cards. Linus put this system together in our workshop and decided he wanted to sell it. With limited time left in the day, he priced this $5,000 PC at small discount for $20! The lucky customer who first noticed this PC was purchasing it as a birthday gift for her brother. Unfortunately Linus was not able to accept credit card payment at his cardboard stand, so he knocked another $5 off the price. With $15 cash in hand, he headed to Carl's Jr. after a successful, hard day of work! Thanks so much to Linus for coming out and filming in our store. He decided that his original build in this Cougar Conqueror Case was outdated, so he did some research and decided on what he wanted including what components of the original build could be used. This is no ordinary computer, with its open air case with all see through panels the cable management was a feat on its own, the customer made it very clear that this build would be a thing of pride something to show off to all of his fans. It included FOUR RGB Trident RAM sticks - the ones that look like diamonds! Amazing graphics were not enough, he needed out of this world real life graphics, so he chose TWO Gigabyte RTX 2080ti graphics cards that he could run in SLI mode. A silent all in one liquid cooler from Corsair fitted with RGB fans and TWO SSD's - one from the original build plus one brand new!$4,612.88 -

I have a wide range of games I play, some as simple as Garry's Mod all the way to something unplayable without a ridiculous PC like Star Citizen. Only thing I'd change is the case, no room for a large modular PSU and the drive tray at the same time so for the time being I've ditched the HDD's and am running on only the two M.2 SSD's. Stay home and stay healthy. The standard HD will be removed and replaced with additional SSD as my steam account has over 100 games now. The PC temperatures are OK. Battlefield 5 in Ultra CPU max 72C - GPU 68C. Very happy with my build, and very happy with Micro-center customer service. If this is your first build, congratulations. First step to greatness :-) Part selection can be made on Microcenters PC builder. Print it out and provide it to the store employee that will be helping with part picking. Ask the employee questions in regards your build if you have, and ask for possible PC part advise. Assemble parts and build it. Easy steps, baby steps no rush. Motherboard, CPU, air cooler and ram. AIO can be mounted later. Check youtube and forums if you have questions or you are not sure how to. Stick it in to the case carefully, no need worry about cables yet. It was easier for to install some cables now and run the in the back before power supply install. Yes the cables were that hardest part of the PC build for me. The little cables to the led and on/off, but few youtube guides and it was done correctly. Cable management in the back is recommended. Makes it look nice and easier to work on in the future. The GPU install is easy, and extra fans if needed. Hope you will reach POST screen. If not, make sure your GPU monitor cable is connected to the right port, and the power supply is ON!!! The other reason I finally decided to finally build a pc was also because of the CoronaVirus pandemic, since we as a nation were being ordered to stay quarantined, I figured this was the best time as any to join the pc master race. With CyberPunk 2077 coming later this year, I wanted to up my experience from my Xbox to PC gaming. Things I would have done different is not mix matching the parts, this was my first ever build so I just bought what I thought looked nice and was affordable. Next time I build a computer I plan on being more unified in parts.
