I've been wanting to build a new PC for quite some time now, and seeing all the Fractal North builds really pushed me to build one of my own. I set a budget of $1600 for this build and the build was about that much after taxes are included. I went for the white case because most of my furniture is white or wood so it fits in perfectly. I've been using it daily for about a week now and it's been great! Super fast and quiet. I love it!$1,479.92 -

I built this PC mostly for home office use since I already have a gaming PC. I wanted this to be quiet and sleek, but also provide as much performance as possible while staying under $1500. Built around the Microcenter 7800x3D bundle with the Gigabyte B650 Gaming X MB and G.Skill Flare X5 RAM. I wanted to go with something similar to the Lian Li case but found a much cheaper case from a brand I’ve never heard of but achieves the same look. Really just wanted to get something with glass panels to show off all the Arctic RGB matching fans. Also found a cheap CPU cooler that was a dual tower design to keep the 7800x3D cooled.$1,674.95 -

I built this computer with the NVIDIA GeForce 3060 Ti, Ryzen 7 CPU, 16GB DDR4 RAM, and a 1TB M.2 SSD to create a versatile powerhouse that can handle both gaming and creative tasks with ease. As a gamer, I'm drawn to titles that demand high-performance hardware to fully immerse myself in their worlds. With this setup, I dive into the latest AAA titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and Call of Duty: Warzone, experiencing smooth gameplay and stunning visuals at high settings. The NVIDIA GeForce 3060 Ti ensures that I can enjoy these games at high resolutions with fast frame rates, delivering an immersive gaming experience. Beyond gaming, I'm also a content creator, producing videos and streaming gameplay on platforms like YouTube and Twitch. The Ryzen 7 CPU's multi-threaded performance allows me to edit videos smoothly and handle streaming tasks without any lag. The 16GB DDR4 RAM ensures that multitasking is a breeze, whether I'm editing videos, streaming, or browsing the web simultaneously. In hindsight, one potential upgrade could be increasing the RAM to 32GB for even smoother multitasking and future-proofing the system. Additionally, considering the fast-paced advancements in technology, I might have opted for a higher-tier GPU if budget allowed, to ensure longevity and better performance in upcoming games and applications. Overall, this build strikes a perfect balance between gaming performance and content creation capabilities, allowing me to pursue my passions with confidence and efficiency.$1,195.94 -

Its a basic build I built around 1080p gaming and the 3080 Ti, whichwas a great all around performing GPU that I was able to pick up off one of my local marketplace from a private buyer. I then bought the MB/CPU/RAM/PSU combo off a friend who had upgraded to a newer platform. Since I didn't need anything new and this fit what I needed it for, I also found a H5 Elite case from a private seller on my local marketplace as well and came with a Corsair RM750. Was able to repurpose some SSD I had laying around and all these together to make a complete working PC. I've been playing FO76 mainly and some FFXIV here and there. My aging 1050 laptop needed an upgrade, so I decided it was time for a new system. I hunted for discounts aggressively: scoring free RAM bundled with the CPU, opting for B-stock fans, and snagging the case, PSU, and SSD on sale. Building the new setup was a breeze from start to finish. The H7 Flow case is not only beautiful but also spacious and enjoyable to work with. Even the B-stock fans looked brand new. My only complaint is that the a-rgb headers are inconveniently placed, making cable management a bit messy. The performance is impressive. The Sims 3 runs at an absurd 700-800 fps with all settings maxed out, while Ark: Survival Ascended, a more demanding title, sits comfortably in the 70s on high and epic settings. The CPU and GPU temperatures rarely exceed 60°C.$1,829.92 -

I built this to replace a 10+ year old gaming PC that was starting to show it's age. I mostly play older games like Unreal Tournament 2004, COD, etc., and wanted something reliable that would run smoothly on my 2K monitors. I also wanted to go RGB for the "coolness" factor (don't judge me) and provide some ambient lighting in the room while playing. In addition to the components listed below, I went with Corsair iCUE LINK QX120 RGB fans and a Corsair iCUE Link RGB LCD AIO because I liked the LCD screen showing system temps or pictures. I also purchased a custom 12VHPR cable with a right angle connection for the GPU and also plugs directly into the PSU (not an extender). The length on it is perfect so there are no sharp bends which is highly recommended with these HPR cables. These extra components added about $550 to the cost, so the total cost for the system was about $2,500.$1,938.94 -

After we changed out a lot of different furniture pieces, we needed to move to a build footprint that was rougly half the size of the old atx mid tower case. Thankfully this wasn't much of a problem since the previous build was 80% empty space. This is not a gaming pc and performance needs are very casual for the use of occasional guests we have stay in our home. The focus was condesing the overall size to fit on a small desk. Many pieces of the previous build we re-used. The previous atx sized motherboard was replaced with a motherboard of mini itx size.$418.93 -

At only 13 liters volume, the Jonsbo N1 case is a solid 2.5 mm aluminum alloy shell on top a 1.0 mm thick steel frameset with 2.0 mm structual beams. The heafty 8.36 LB metal data vault fits a Mini-ITX board, an SFX PSU, and five 3.5-in. SATA/SAS hard drives. Easy 100+ TB NAS and/or Proxmox VE in a compact 8.5-in. x 6.5-in. vertical footprint. My home office now runs on this one combined Proxmox NAS. It sports a Ryzen 5700G processor and a 4-drive ZFS RAID-Z1 array. Enough compute to provide basic services to a small network. The N1 with just one fan gets warm, so I'd recommend remove or change out the front panel for better airflow. In the future, I may populate its one PCIe expansion slot with a PCIe to 4x M.2 card, then add on a M.2 to 5-SATA card to use all five drive bays, add an M.2 2.5GbE card, (or 10GbE), and add extra M.2 NVMe drives.$1,144.98 -

When I was first thinking of building a pc, I only had a budget of $1200 . I love to Stream on Twitch and play intense FPS games like Warzone ,any call of duty game , Fortnite, etc. I thought I would've had to spend $1400+ for the parts I have, but Microcenter really hooked it up with the CPU bundle deal ! This Pc can run any game u want in max frames and resolution. I also wanted the color theme to be as much white as possible because I just think white looks really clean and it stands out more. The graphics card is really good for its price , I just wish it had more then 8gbs of ram. Its not a problem at all with the games I run, but the more GB's of ram u have the better obviously. I also want to upgrade to 32 GB's of ram instead of 16 in the future. My case I chose is really cheap but I love it a lot. Very easy installation and I like the stock rgb fans it comes with and the usb-c port on top is useful . The only downside of this case is that you wont be able to add any fans on the bottom. This Pc was worth every penny !$1,228.99 -

I originally built this comuter to play more casual games like Sims 4, Minecraft with RTX, Stardew Valley, and other emulation. Later when I entered my tech school, I began to use it to learn AutoCad, Blender, Revit, and 3dsmax. None of which I am good at yet lol. Starting last month I got a Quest 2 headset so I could play PCVR games using a link cable like Job Sim, Blade & Sorcery, Vivecraft, and Beat Saber. I use it for 3D printing and Silhouette Studio for crafting and stuff. I wish I didn't cheap out on my motherboard and storage because 1.5 TB isn't really enough anymore and my RAM is only running at 3333 Mhz instead of 3600. There also isn't very many USB ports and RGB headers for everything I would like to connect. Soon I am going to be doing a Snowblind mod whenever the monitor I ordered comes in the mail.$1,329.92 -

I enjoy the occasional triple A and although I can't run them at 4K 120FPS I'm happy with just laying back and locking my frames to 60 to forget about it. The one area where I feel like it leaves much to be desired is in emulation as it really demand a lot from your CPU. Overall decent build could've made better choices but for what it's worth it's served me well.$1,080.90 -

This is a high end 4090 gaming build that is technically a "Budget 4090 Build" where I use some open box items and used components to save money. I am upgrading from a PC that is 9 years old and wanted to build a new one that will last me another 9 years. This is a gaming rig that can handle almost anything even though I mostly use it for productivity. Still in the process, but I will get back into streaming content online soon playing random games and drawing while hoping to do some game production. My goal is to fully utilize this PC with my 4K monitors. Besides that, it looks cool to look at! What a wonderful journey and it all started from buying the Microcenter Bundle!$4,090.69 -

I wanted to use minimal RGB, so the parts wouldn’t be extremely saturated with RGB, and so I could play more comfortably at night. I chose these parts with a $1300 budget in mind. There were definitely things I believe I could’ve done to improve the build, such as a PSU without daisy-chained PCIE connectors, but it’s the price you pay for a quality unit, I suppose.$1,213.11 -

Things have changed a lot over the years. I made some small changes with a case swap, new cooler, and storage back in 2021. Now it's been completely refreshed with a new platform and GPU. It's basically a new build at this point and I'm so glad with how it turned out. Also I 100% needed a GPU sag bracket, this card is HUGE. I mainly use this build for gaming and talking to friends. I recently just finished playing Nier Replicant and Nier Automata. Those were extremely fun! I also upgraded to a 1440p monitor which has been a crazy change. I bought the 7700x, RAM, and Mobo combo deal at Microcenter since that seemed like the most effective way to upgrade from my old 8600k platform. Saved a good 200 ish dollars there. As for my GPU, it is an insane improvement over my previous GTX 1070. Overall I'm happy with how this build as turned out!$1,470.90 -
