I use it for content creation (video editing and Photoshop) right now, and it will become even more useful as soon as I add a GPU. The previous system I was using for these tasks had only 4 Skylake cores, so doubling my core count and increasing IPC with the i7 11700k has been a big plus for productivity. I also appreciate the UHD 750 integrated graphics, which allow for 4K 60Hz output via HDMI 2.0. I wanted a visually impressive build that would really stand out, so that's why I chose the Thermaltake Tower 500 (which my family says looks a bit like a popcorn machine!) I have enough space in this case for tons of expansion over the next 6+ years.$770.67 -

This PC started off as a pre-built from Overclockers UK but had various upgrades in order to keep it more up to speed. This was a computer bought/upgraded for my cousin who lives in the UK. At this point, almost everything is replaced either with parts I purchased used, or open-box/sealed from third party sellers on places like eBay. One of the only parts remaining is the CPU. I would upgrade it, but I plan to just create him an entirely new build very soon. Due to the graphics cards constraints, only low level games are played. Mainly Minecraft, Overwatch 2, TF2, and Terraria. The computer also holds up very well for simple productivity and day to day use, e.g. schoolwork. Unfortunately, since all the money went to sourcing parts, the build does not visually look like anything special. Even the original LED RGB strips that came with the proprietary Overclockers case is broken, burning out after a few months of use. The airflow is still decent in this case however, with a solid push/pull configuration set up to take air in from small vents in the front and exhaust through the top and back. Temps stay average, which is nice. There used to be power issues as well due to a faulty PSU but I upgraded it to a sturdier unit and there have not been any problems since. The PC is able to run Minecraft, Terraria and other similar level games at 300+ FPS, and Overwatch, League, etc at around 150-180. This is more than enough for 1080p60 gameplay especially for this price. This is also while actively in Discord calls with maybe 1-2 background processes open.$675.96 -

Decided to go with zen 4 for the sake of longevity despite the higher cost. I admit that certain parts were chosen partially for their aesthetics and I got no regrets. I really wanted to go with the Fractal Design - North case, but unfortunately I couldn't find it for a good price, so I just went with whatever case made sense and was on sale (Deepcool CK500). Really happy with the results!$2,562.89 -

This is just your generic gaming build with an orange aesthetic and RGB, nothing more. Eventually I’m planning to turn it into my dream build. I’ve had most of this build for months, though I just recently got the last INF fan in the back. For the future, I might get a few spec upgrades, but really I'm looking for more RAM (at 16gb After Effects has it pegged at 90%!), a custom Raze V1 Tech GPU backplate, and custom orange and black cables from Cablemod. Then it'll be completed.$1,496.40 -

One of my friends wanted a new computer for everyday use and I told her I'd help her build one instead of buying one. She doesn't do much except the occasional League of Legends game for the most part, but at least now she has the option to if she so desires! Her old laptop took over 10 minutes just to start up and this new one starts up in less than 30 seconds! So far, she loves it, although she did say she wishes there was more RGB inside so we may have to add that later on.$575.93 -

I was able to get an RTX 2060S for the low so that I can be able to play all the games I want at 1440p (league/valorant/overwatch) for 144 hz. I have had a prebuilt for 5 years and with the new Hogwarts Legacy game coming out I knew I needed a new one. I upgraded from a gtx 1060 and intel i5 8400 to a rx 6700xt and a ryzen 5 5600x. I can run new high demanding games with max settings on 60fps like Doom Eternal, High on life, Fortnite, and many others. Although I normally like to play most games on performance mode to max out my fps, sometimes its nice to see some cool graphics. One thing I would have done differently was to wait a little longer and get a rtx 3070. Nvidia gpus are in favor for most games and kind of regret buying an AMD gpu in some situations.$1,125.89 -

I don't play any graphic-intensive games but I do appreciate good frames per second.
