  I built this pc after saving for a long time. I used to play on PS4 but wanted a better gaming experience. So I started... I built this pc after saving for a long time. I used to play on PS4 but wanted a better gaming experience. So I started saving and had enough for it in march and went to micro center to buy all the parts. everything was very easy to put together. I play competetive FPS games like Fortnite, Rainbow six, Valorant and CSGO. I get 144 FPS easily in all games on ultra settings. I also play games like GTA V and RDR2 which i get around 60 FPS in the open world and 100 FPS in buildings. One thing i would've done different is to of went with AMD over Intel for 6 cores and 12 Threads rather than 6C and 6TH. My upgrade would have to be a I9 9900K because its still a beast processor for gaming and content creation. I would also not have to upgrade my MOBO like i would a 10 series Intel or AMD CPU. Over all it is a very good gaming build not the best for streaming but i get good FPS for competitive games and have had no problems so far.

I plan on upgrading to the 3060 once it comes out, and once ryzen 5th gen comes out i will upgrade my cpu and motherboard. My main regret is my corsair h100i, although i love it if i could change it i would get the hyper 212 evo and use the 80 dollars to go from a 1660 super to a rtx 2060

I love to play Grand Theft Auto Five and other games like Farming Sim and lots of other Sims. I like to maybe upgrade my CPU or my GPU or get new fans if I get the money or sell my pc and then recreate a whole new one with a bigger budget.

  This is for both gaming and work. I do software development during the day, and then play warzone\overwatch\csgo\etc at... This is for both gaming and work. I do software development during the day, and then play warzone\overwatch\csgo\etc at night. My parts don't necessarily warrant a Liquid cooling setup, but I wanted to get into setting up custom loops before I upgraded. I now have a 2080, but when I built this originally I had a 1060. This system makes it easy to upgrade to better parts and have the same level of great cooling. I have both the 2080 and i7-6700K overclocked now. Temps don't ever get above 60 C on either component. However I wanted and all around PC that I could do pretty much anything on. I have always bought the standard prebuilt machines over the years and wanted something to call my own not HP or Dell HAHA. It was a little overwhelming at first but the associates at Microcenter pointed me in the right direction for everything and asked really good questions. Very Helpful. But I'm extremely happy with the perfomance and products I chose. Now looking forward to the next build and upgrades. LOL

  Okay, so this is my build for gaming/streaming on a budget over time. I call it Genie, because that's what the RGB is based... Okay, so this is my build for gaming/streaming on a budget over time. I call it Genie, because that's what the RGB is based off of, hex code pulled directly from samples of Alladin's Genie. The one thing I actually want more of on my board is fan headers, I'd like at least 5, but I'm not sure it's a thing. Also, I hope to eventually grab a case and board with USB-C front panel options. I think that if I had thought I would have saved less on RAM and gone with 3200 over 2666 OCed to 2866. But, I'm still figuring out the platform. The 2060 Super still leaves a bit to be desired when streaming, and becomes overtaken by RTX Voice, but the 3600 (non x, upgraded from 2600) leaves a large delta for upgrade on the GPU side. I run no OC on the CPU to take advantage of the 4.7ghz single-core PBO. My 2060 Super is OCed via MSI Afterburner on the automatic curve. The entire system is air cooled, and rarely pops over 80C even under max load.

  This has been my consistently upgrading but never disappointing build for 10 years. It's seen 3 generations of AMD... This has been my consistently upgrading but never disappointing build for 10 years. It's seen 3 generations of AMD processors (Phenom II, Piledriver and Ryzen) and 3 generations of AMD video cards (crossfired HD 4870's, HD 7970 GHZ and Vega 56). Big shout-out to the Cooler master HAF 932 that I bought pre USB 3 and has stood the test of time (and was fun to paint)! Most impressive is the WD Black 500 gig 5200 mechanical hard drive that still spins 10 years later. This computer has gone through 3 versions of window (XP, 7, 10) and countless win 10 build updates (groan). It's been an amazing gaming rig, rocking 1440p / 144hz /60+ fps and I hope to keep amassing processor stickers for years to come.

I ultimately wanted to build something that I could afford while still being able to do what I want with it. I am a Nursing student at UTA and a father of three so this is perfect for when I want to relax or spend a day off gaming from morning to night. I set out to build a VR capable PC for racing and some first person Star Wars: Squadron and possibly upgrading for a racing simulator set up. I have cut some corners due to the circumstances with COVID and because I know I was not compromising on the parts. I also knew that I’d probably end up building another one for my son once he saw this one haha!

I have been an avid PC gamer the entire time. Starting out with simple games like IRON HELIX and now I just play a lot of Sea of Thieves, PUBG, WoW, Rocket League, and Diablo 3. I originally was not going to build a new PC. But given current scenario of our country I needed to have a space to work from home and my son needed a computer to do his school work from home. I work in I.T. and mostly deal with remote support now, and I am a Jamf administrator and in control of devices for over 17,000 staff and students at my place of employment. While I was parting out my sons "budget" build for school work and gaming, it became apparent a lot of 'budget' parts had shot up in price, so I made the decision to just build myself a new flagship, and give him my previous 7700k build. The only thing I wish I could have done differently was buy a 2080 Super, but they haven't been in stock for a couple weeks at my local store.

I know this build probably isn’t gonna win because there are gonna be builds way cooler than mine but i’m giving it a shot. In the future i plan on replacing my 2060 super with a 1080ti, i plan on adding a 500gb Nvme SSD, a x570 mother board, a ryzen 7 3700x, a modular psu, is cable mod extensions and a NZXT case.
