PC guts inside of a MacPro case… This was built to host my security cameras and home media. It has since turned into a 2nd PC for streaming and running other media in the background while I game. Trying not to alter the case too much, I searched around to find components that would work. In the end I ended up trimming the back panel to work with the mobo ports, cutting a hole to pass the power cables through the top shelf to the rest of the PC, installed my own stand-offs and mounting plate. And let’s just not talk about the CPU radiator being held in by zip-ties.$0.00 -

Started using Plex for streaming personal media but filled up the 8TB external HDD pretty quick! Figured this was the perfect opportunity to get into the world of servers. I wanted something that was SFF, dead silent, had plenty of HDD bays, and still looked good to set on my desk. Didn't like the look of the Node 304 or NR200 but when the SSUPD Meshlicious came out, I knew I could make it unique and exactly what I wanted. Decided to upgrade my gaming rig during this process and use those parts for the server or buy used. Server GPU was omitted since I have my own gaming rig which can handle heavy duties if necessary. Check out both rigs in the last photo! Using unRAID has been a great choice of server OS and an amazing learning tool to get into servers! Since it's used primarily for Plex by my family, drives are spun down most of the time. Plex libraries are split up into different drives allowing for a single HDD spin up at a time depending on the movie/show. The system remains dead silent, even when 1 or 2 drives are in use. Currently have 3x 18TB Seagate Exos HDDs and 6x 6TB Seagate Ironwolf HDDs. Noise and thermals have been a non-issue. Even during 24-hour data transfer to all drives at once, HDDs never hit above 38 degrees. Incredibly happy with the way it came out and couldn't recommend the SSUPD Meshlicious enough as an insanely versatile and beautiful SFF case! Custom Mods: - Created a 3x triple HDD sled system within the GPU chamber for a capacity of 9x HDDs. Drives mounted using 3/8" foam material as vibration dampeners. Each HDD sled has 0.125" clearance between each other allowing airflow. Sleds are bottom-mounted w/ screws and friction magnetic mounted on top with absolutely no wobble without being turned completely 90 degrees. Able to unscrew from the bottom of the case and slide out the top for ease of adding HDDs. - Thermalright AXP-90I w/ Noctua NF-A12x15 Chromax installed using custom 1mm steel rod. - 4x Arctic P8 PWM PST CO in rear HDD chamber using magnetic tape. - 8600k delidded (9900k delidded for gaming rig). - Corsair SF600 Gold w/ Noctua NF-A9x14 fan swap (Corsair SF750 Platinum for gaming rig). - Painted custom hardware matte black. - Added RGB last minute for extra server fps! This PC was built around an extremely cheap bundle I acquired from offerup a while back. With this, I aimed to build a perfect gaming, video editing, streaming, etc. gaming pc for under $150 and accomplished my goal happily. I also aimed the theme to be clean white at the best budget, which involved spray painting the graphics card to maximize savings. Right now it has a GTX 1650, but with the 650W psu, it can be upgraded anytime in the future. Thank you micro center for some sweet deals and helping me build this epic PC!$149.00 -

It started with my acquisition of an old office pc at an affordable price, kickstarting my interests in pc building. The Dell Optiplex 9020 comes with a solid processor that is still viable in this day. The Intel Core i7-4790 was a beast during its time and still manages to keep up with the latest games of today. Next, I increased my RAM to 16GB of DDR3 which is what I had lying around from other computers that were not in use. Right after, I installed a 2 TB Seagate HDD that i got from Microcenter. Finally, I installed an Asus 1050ti into the pc that allowed me to transform this computer from an office pc into a true gaming pc. Luckily, this model of gpu does not require any additional power so it can run completely off the motherboard and the the 290 Watt PSU. While this pc isn't much compared to the Titans of today, my plan is to slowly improve this pc as parts come on sale and I find great deals. My next plans are to upgrade the PSU, GPU, and transplant this PC into a new case. Additionally, I plan to improve the cooling and both the motherboard and processor. I really look forward to overclocking my little Frankestein one day. All of this will depend on my luck with deals which adds to the fun because there's no way I know what I'll end up with in the future!$254.98 -

This computer serves 2 purposes: to stream Steam games to my Steam Link (light gaming) and an Everquest emulator server. Unlike existing Everquest emulator servers like Project1999, this server has Vallon Zek PVP rules (8 level pvp range, coin loot and 4 race teams of Human, Elf, Evil and Elf). I was able to make Sullon Zek's level range work as well, but never cared for that server.$314.99 -

He wanted a super cheap build to play fortnite and minecraft smoothly. The heart of this PC is an old Dell XPS that has been put into a shiny new case. Surprisingly for how cheap this build cost is this is still a capable 1080p gaming PC. Might have to upgrade the platform first if he decides to dump anymore money into it. Sold it to my friend for $400.$319.95 -

I'm running a i5-6500, Biostar B250 Mining Motherboard, a CM i71C Cooler, 16GB's of DDR4-3000Mhz Ram, 120GB Boot SSD, 1TB Hard Drive, GTX 1060 3gb variant, EVGA 500w 80+ White PSU and a Silverstone HTPC case. I play a lot of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare lol. Grind that game almost everyday with my friends. I try to stream when I can, but keep it to a minimum as my system isn't that capable to do both gaming and streaming. In the future, I will probably upgrade the entire system due to the aging components inside. I will probably only keep the ram and storage, but everything else is quite old. My system does have some lighting from one of the case fans and the cpu cooler, but not the best. But hey, I didn't expect much from a dirt cheap cpu cooler and case fan. Also, the inside of the case looks absolutely disgusting, I know lmao. A system with a non modular PSU inside a HTPC case is a nightmare, but this is how it's been for the past 5 years, so I guess I'm fine with it.$353.95 -

I wanted to build a pc for streaming in the future, and also something portable for low end gaming. Some fighting games like Skullgirls, KoF, Also Fps games like apex, halo, gears, etc... I would've like to make the outside case a bit neater, but it was my first time doing something like this, and didn't have the proper tools for some jobs. I would like to put a discrete graphics card in it, so it could really game. Maybe be a mobile vr pc. A modular psu as well to help cable management. I would show the sides, but I can only upload one picture some reason.$366.96 -

I use my pc for gaming and streaming however ive been noticing that the stream isnt the best quality. What i plan on upgrading is getting a dedicated graphics card, a better cpu with more cores and threads, after those main upgrades i am looking to buy a 144hz monitor for as well as a 1tb hard drive. Lastly is to get a bettter motherboard because at the moment my motheroard sometimes stays on the bio page and doesnt change. I dont know for sure why that happens but i believe its just the motherboard itself. Lastly what I do on my stream is play games such as minecraft or any game that my pc can run while streaming. So dar its been a journey with my 22 followers in only just 3 days!!!!$382.94 -
