This USB-C hub conveniently expands the ports on your Macbook from 1 to 7. Provides you with both a SD and MicroSD card slot so you can quickly manage your photos. Also provides 2 USB 3.1 (Gen 2 Type-A) ports so you can plug in your mouse, keyboard or other USB powered device. You also get a USB-C power deliver port so you don't have to worry about losing power while you work. Along with a HDMI 4K port so you can mirror or extend you screen, and lastly a gigabit ethernet port giving you direct connection to your network at 1 Gbps.
