game-type in first-person shooters where players are pitted against
other players. The player with the most frags in a set amount of
time or the player that reaches a set amount of frags first is the
term used in a deathmatch game. The goal in deathmatches is to kill
(or "frag") the other player to accumulate points. Frags
are taken away when a player dies or commits suicide. Frag replaces
more permanent terms like "kill" because after a player
is fragged, they come back into the game, or respawn.
action of a player being re-incarnated in a deathmatch. This happens
at the beginning of the match and after being fragged.
