Micro Center® offers a high-quality and competitive benefits
program designed to be flexible in nature and comprehensive
in scope. All associates who work on a full-time basis - at
least 30 hours per week - are eligible to participate in our
cafeteria benefits plan on the first of the month following
90 days of active service. In addition, medical, dental and
vision coverage is available for part-time associates as well
as those full-time associates not yet eligible for the company's
major medical plan. The insurance options include:
Group Life and AD&D
Coverage at one times your annual base income (rounded to
the nearest thousand) is provided at no cost to the associate
up to a maximum of $50,000. You may purchase supplemental
life insurance for yourself and your eligible dependents at
low group rates.
Voluntary Life Insurance
Whether you are starting or ending your career, or somewhere in between, these life insurance solutions can help associates plan for the future.
Medical, Dental and Vision Coverage
Micro Center associates can use the Preferred Providers Organization
(PPO) network of physicians and hospitals (which includes
a prescription card), and save money. Dental and vision coverage
is also available. Micro Center® offers Vision Service Plan
(VSP) to all associates nationwide. The company pays the majority
of the premium, and associates pay the balance each pay period
with pre-tax contributions. Single or family coverage is available.
NurseLine
When you have a health concern, it can be difficult and time consuming to find the information you need. You are never sure if you should go to the Dr., the Emergency Room, Urgent Care, or "wait it out". One toll-free number connects you with a registered nurse 24/7 who can answer your medical questions, help you understand treatment options, find an appropriate doctor based on your medical needs or answer a wide range of other health care questions and concerns. NurseLine nurses have an average of 15 years of clinical experience and are an excellent resource when needed.
Critical Illness Insurance
Critical Illness insurance is a supplement to provide additional financial protection in the event of a serious illness. The policy is designed to help cover the many out-of-pocket expenses you or your family may face beyond traditional care and treatment. With the purchase of the employee policy, family coverage options are available.
Accident Insurance
Accident Insurance covers a wide range of injuries and qualifying events. The benefits are designed to help pay for high, out-of-pocket costs that may not be covered by traditional health insurance. There are a variety of family coverage options available.
Short and Long Term Disability
Plans
To insure against the loss of earning power in the event of
a non-work related disability, you can elect either or both
of these options. Different plans are available to choose
from at low group rates.

Starbridge Select, a sickness and accident plan offering limited—benefit

part-time associates and their dependents. The plan is also
